Guys
What I saw in Biloxi was not nice -people still without shelter - a lady walked 2 days to get blankets and some food where i helped the first day. I also went on a roof repair job that day. The contractor had been paid but never installed boots around the vents - so the roof leaked. I was able to help around camp with small jobs they needed done so i felt good about it. I would like to go back as there is so much help needed and so much to do. They have a grant to rehab 175 homes down to the studs and rebuild them, i think the i might be able to direct some workers, we will see

Dad, that's what I thought when I was in Ocean Springs last spring. It amazed me what hadn't been done yet, and what still needed to be completed. It just astounds me that the clean up was expected to take at least 5 years, and that wasn't including the rebuilding phase. I'm proud of you for being down there.
